If WordPress.com wants to suddenly allow for Javascript widgets to work in their pages and posts, I would call off this search.

I have no lack of hosted sites, both with WordPress and Drupal. (telltenfriends.com, underthecoverage.com, not to mention the day job stuff) and I have a half dozen hosted Wp.com sites as well.

What I want out of my personal domain is just a melting pot of all the places I can be found on the web, an aggregate, of sorts.

I’d be happy to pay for the right service: One that allows a custom domain, feed aggregation as auto-posts, and (my kingdom for…) pages and menu navigation as well.

Sweetcron may be worth a look, but I would prefer hosted; less headache.

Having recently moved to self-hosted, I can safely say that there’s a lot to be said for going that direction. But you don’t need to go self-hosted if you don’t want to. I love your blog anywhere you host it.
